Salon & barbershop software, compared

The Honest Comparison.Every Claim You Can Check.

How Amplify stacks up against the categories operators switch off of — enterprise salon suites, barbershop-native tools, and booking marketplaces. No spin, no rows we can't back.

Where each category fits

What a Brand-Builder Needs — And Who Has It.

The categories aren't named because it doesn't matter which logo is on the box — the trade-offs are the same across each type. Every row is one a technical buyer can verify.

Deliberately left off: support quality and uptime. Both matter enormously — and both are earned, not asserted. We won't claim a checkmark we can't prove against the next company.

FAQ

How Amplify Compares: FAQ

Is this comparison biased?
Amplify built this comparison, so read it with that in mind. That's exactly why every row is something a technical buyer can verify for themselves: our pricing is published, reservations plus walk-ins is a product fact, and data ownership and the clean-export commitment are in writing. We only put a row on the chart if we can back it up, and we'd rather leave a claim off than ask you to take it on faith.
What about support and reliability — why aren't those on the chart?
Support and uptime are left off on purpose. Great support and reliability are earned, not claimed, and every platform has bad days, Amplify included. We won't put a checkmark next to something we can't prove is better than the next company's. Instead of taking our word for it, ask us for references and hear directly what support and reliability look like day to day.
How is Amplify actually different on price?
Amplify charges one number: $350 per location per month for the platform. There's no setup fee, no per-user seats, no per-client fees, and no marketplace commission of any kind. The only thing that scales with use is texting, billed at $0.03 a message, and optional modules are added only when you ask for them. You can read the full price without a sales call.
If I sign and it does not work out, am I stuck?
Not with your data. Amplify runs on a contract like every serious platform, but your data is never held hostage. If you decide to leave, we export it cleanly and you take it wherever you want, with your client history intact. No payout is held as leverage and no one charges a ransom for your own client list. You stay because it works, not because leaving would cost you your business.
