Privacy Policy
The short version
- This policy covers the amplify.inc marketing website — not the Amplify platform, which your business would use under a separate agreement.
- We collect what you send us on the demo form (name, business, number of locations, current software, email, phone) plus basic technical data your browser sends.
- We use it to respond to you and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information for money.
- You can access, correct, or delete your information, or tell us to stop, any time — email [email protected].
- California and EEA/UK residents have specific rights, described below, and we honor recognized opt-out signals like Global Privacy Control.
This Privacy Policy explains how Unchained Systems, Inc., a Delaware corporation operating in Texas (“Unchained Systems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit amplify.inc and the marketing pages for our product, Amplify (the “Site”). Please read it alongside our Terms of Service.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the Site only. If your business becomes an Amplify customer, the personal information you and your own clients place into the Amplify platform is processed under the separate written agreement (including any Data Processing Addendum) between your business and Unchained Systems — where your business is the controller of that data and Amplify acts as its processor. This policy does not govern that platform data.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run the Site.
| Category | Examples | Source | Why we collect it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers & contact data | Your name, business or brand name, email address, phone number | You, via the demo form | To respond to your request and contact you about Amplify |
| Business qualification info | Number of locations, the software you use today, anything in your message | You, via the demo form | To understand your needs and tailor the conversation |
| Internet & device activity | IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps | Collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure | Security, reliability, and understanding aggregate usage |
| Cookie & usage identifiers | Essential cookies; analytics or advertising/conversion identifiers where those tools are enabled | Collected automatically | To operate the Site and, where enabled, measure usage and ad performance |
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, precise geolocation, or health data) through the Site, and the demo form does not ask for payment-card details.
3. How and why we use it
We use the information described above to:
- respond to your demo request and communicate with you about Amplify;
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site;
- measure and understand how the Site is used, in aggregate; and
- comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
For visitors in the EEA and UK, our legal bases are: your consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing contact where required); our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries, securing the Site, and understanding usage; and compliance with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Cookies & similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential — required to serve the Site securely and remember basic preferences. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — where enabled, to measure aggregate usage so we can improve the Site.
- Advertising / conversion — where we run paid campaigns, to measure whether an ad led to a demo request. Enabling these may involve “sharing” identifiers as defined by California law; see Your California privacy rights.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required by law.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only in these limited ways:
- Service providers (processors) that run the Site and help us follow up — including our hosting and data-storage provider (Cloudflare) and, where enabled, transactional-email, CRM, and analytics tools — bound to use the data only on our instructions;
- Advertising and analytics partners, only where those tools are enabled, and only to the extent described above;
- Legal and safety — where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Unchained Systems, our users, or the public; and
- Business transfers — if Unchained Systems is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
We maintain a current list of the service providers we use and will provide it on request at [email protected].
6. Data retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain our business records, and then delete or de-identify it, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or a longer period is required by law. Technical log data is kept for a shorter period for security and troubleshooting.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited data the Site collects, and store submissions with our infrastructure provider. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International data transfers
We operate the Site from the United States and process information there. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers of personal data out of the EEA or UK.
9. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to:
- Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;
- Delete personal information we collected from you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — we do not sell your information for money, and where we enable advertising/conversion tools that “share” identifiers, you can opt out (including via the GPC signal); and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger the right to limit its use. To exercise a right, email [email protected]; we will verify your request and may act through an authorized agent where permitted.
10. Your EEA & UK rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office). To exercise these rights, email [email protected].
11. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for business owners and operators and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice on the Site.
13. How to contact us
For any privacy question or request, email [email protected]. The data controller is Unchained Systems, Inc., the maker of Amplify.
